Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains which data is processed when you use this website, on what legal basis, and which rights you have. It follows Art. 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Server log files

When you open this website, your browser automatically transmits technical data that the hosting provider stores in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website). Log data is deleted or anonymised after a short retention period.

No cookies for tracking

This website does not set advertising or profiling cookies and does not embed third-party marketing tools. That is why you do not see a consent banner.

Web fonts

The fonts used on this site (Geist, Geist Mono) are self-hosted and delivered from the same server as the website. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service is established, and no data about you is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

Demo request form (HubSpot)

When you submit the demo-request form on the “Book a demo” page, the data you enter (first and last name, company, business email, phone number if provided, your core system and your description of the routine) is transmitted directly from your browser to our CRM provider HubSpot, Inc. (Cambridge, MA, USA) and stored in its EU data centre (region eu1), together with the address and title of the page from which you sent the form. We use this data solely to process your demo request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request). The form sets no cookies and loads no HubSpot script. HubSpot processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Access from the USA (e.g. for support purposes) cannot be ruled out; HubSpot, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR). We store the data until your request has been dealt with or until you object, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If the transmission fails, the page shows our email address instead; nothing is stored on our web server.

Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete such data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies.

Reach measurement

This website uses a self-hosted, cookieless reach measurement (Umami) operated by our web agency on servers in Germany. It records anonymous, aggregated page views without cookies and without transmitting personal data to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients and transfers

We use service providers for hosting, email and customer relationship management (HubSpot, see “Demo request form”) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Apart from the possible access by HubSpot, Inc. from the USA described there, no transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA takes place for the operation of this website.
